Conversation & Mentorship

An Evening With William Louey

Drawing on a lifetime spanning business, philanthropy, education, health and an enduring curiosity about people, William Louey brings a distinctive perspective to panels, podcasts, private gatherings and live events.

William approaches public speaking in much the same way he approaches the rest of his work: not as an opportunity to lecture, but to exchange ideas. His conversations move comfortably between the lessons of a century-old family business and the future of longevity; between what it means to give money and what it means to give time; and between personal experience and some of the larger questions facing the generations that follow us.

As a fourth-generation steward of the family behind Kowloon Motor Bus and a current Non-Executive Director of Transport International Holdings, William brings decades of exposure to the realities of family enterprise, governance, change and long-term responsibility. In 1995 he founded the William S.D. Louey Educational Foundation, beginning a philanthropic commitment to education and mentorship that has now continued for more than three decades.

More recently, William has taken those conversations to a wider audience. He has appeared on podcasts and interview series including The Pearl Lam Podcast, Wealth Office, Analyse Asia and Over Forty Wellness, while hosting his own conversations through Reaching Your Peak and Growing Young with William Louey.
